OUR HISTORY
The Stuarts story dates right back to the 1940s, when Mr Alf Stuart bought a second-hand Dodge and began to transport cattle. In 1949 Alf bought his first new truck, an Austin Loadstar, for £850. Not an easy sum to find in those early days and Alf quotes “I could hardly stop my hands shaking enough to sign the cheque.” See More
BEEF FINISHERS
Each year Stuart Partners Ltd finish over two-thousand units of cattle, providing top quality beef to our clients located throughout the Westcountry. Roy Stuart is responsible for the buying and managing of our cattle units within the beef finishing sector – and it has undergone some exciting expansion work within the last few years, with two new finishing units being constructed at Wood Farm in Farringdon. Stuarts inert landfill
The majority of material brought onto the site is now recycled, including the processing and sorting of over 80,000 tonnes per year of inert waste.
Our inert landfill processes material suitable for both disposal on site as well as crushed hardcore material for resale. We welcome the following types of waste:
- Bricks and concrete
- Ceramics and tiles providing they are not man made
- Stones and soil (apart from those containing hazardous substances)
